A Quilting and Crafting Retreat
Learn to Twine a Rug out of all that Scrap Material!
Twining is an old type of weaving which makes beautiful "rag rugs".
It is a tight form of braiding and is great for using up scraps of fabrics.
The warp (vertical fabric) can be made from muslin or a sheet from Goodwill!!
Looms are available:
$60 to make an area rug approximately 24" x 36"
$40 to make placemat size approximately 12" x 16"
(Purchase both for $110 and they will be made to be interchanged to make a table runners)
Your rug can be completed in about 1 1/2 days with a bag of scraps!
Call to place your order and your Loom will be ready when you arrive for your retreat and
I will be available for the weekend to help you complete your first rug!
Or have your loom shipped to you (shipping not included)

Spend the weekend immersed in your new passion - or your renewed passion - Quilting! Classes will last all day Friday and Saturday with teacher and lots of help available all weekend. Sign-up as an individual or with a friend. Maximum 8 per class. Contact us for class fees, patterns and more information.

Cheri and Audrey have lots of tips in their great patterns with wonderful easy to follow, well illustrated directions. Cheri is a wonderful teacher and has taught their pattern across the country. Cheri will be available to teach if your group would like to schedule a quilting class with her at Quilting On The Rim. Call to arrange for your classes!
